Angantyr

Description

Son of Heidrek and Sífka. At the beginning he was not heir to Götaland, but after the death of his father, the will he left behind raised him to the new king of Götaland, removing his brother, Hlöd, from the inheritance of the throne. This fact was a very hard blow for a Götaland that was recovering from the Rebellion of the Successors, as it saw again how a civil war devastated its territory. Finally, Angantyr would rise victorious and impose a peaceful and prosperous reign to the kingdom, being remembered as one of the few benevolent kings who reigned Götaland. He was, by inheritance, the bearer of Tyrfing, the Legacy of Dáinn, and in fact he used it to end the life of his brother. After that, he gave the cursed sword to King Högni of Solor, a friend of his, in the hope that Högni would know how to keep it and not use it.
