This vast plain extends beyond the city itself and has always been of great magical and alchemical interest to anyone knowledgeable in these arts due to its incredible properties, fauna, and flora.

The City of Idavöll is the heart of the world of Asgard, where the majority of the gods built their palaces and where everything is managed. It is protected by a great magical wall constructed by the jötun Master Builder, with its entrance guarded by Heimdall. Its enormous palaces rise up to the clouds, mostly concentrated in one part of the city, around Odin's palace, which is located directly in front of the city's central plaza.

The palace of Himinbjörg is the home of the god Heimdall, who guards the entrance of Asgard's wall from a huge tower. It is the tallest castle and building in all of Asgard, and from its summit, he is able to see the farthest end of the Bifröst.

The palace of Breidablik, home of Balder and his wife, Nanna, is the smallest of all the palaces in Asgard but is considered the purest and most beautiful. Its roof is gilded in gold and supported by sturdy columns of solid silver. Its doors, walls, and windows are protected by a mysterious spell of unknown origin that prevents darkness from entering the palace. This enchantment will be broken when Yves, after awakening, manages to access Balder's mind, inducing all kinds of nightmares.

The palace of Helgafell is a palace that was decided to be built in a court in Valaskjálf, which agreed to the construction of a palace dedicated to receiving the souls of women who have died exclusively from Midgard, that is, human women.

After the couple separated, Njörd lived the rest of his life in this palace, while Skadi returned to her respective abode in Jötunheim.

Valhalla Palace is Odin's palace and the dwelling place of the other half of the fallen warriors from Midgard who do not go to Folkvangr. These warriors rest and train eternally in a sort of paradise, without the possibility of leaving. At the top of Valhalla is a garden with a tree at its center, called Lærad. The leaves of this tree serve as food for the stag Eikthyrnir and the goat Heidrún, who live in the garden. This tree produces apples that are harvested by the goddess Idunn, known as Idunn's Apples.

The Well of Urd is a place that does not seem anchored to any specific location. It appears before those whom the Norns wish to speak to, or those who need answers and are allowed by fate to receive them. A lake appears, with the well at its center, glorious and beautiful like nothing ever seen, with a construction never before witnessed. Two mysterious swans inhabit the lake surrounding the well, their names and history unknown. Once someone crosses the boundaries of the lake, they will sink, as if dragged by a greater force, and enter a state of trance, feeling as though they belong to no specific point in space or time. In this state, no movement exists, not even the words spoken by the guest leave their mouth. The three Norns will speak and listen for as long as they determine, without being seen.

The Amsvartnir Lake is a lake located in Asgard, containing the island of Lyngvi. This lake has waters darker than usual, earning it the name \"lake of pitch\". On the island in this lake, Fenrir was imprisoned until he escaped one day before Ragnarök.

No one ever knew what Frey did there, as he went completely alone. The relationship between the Vanir god and the luminous elves, specifically, was very good.

The region of Svíthjod, located northeast of Enea, borders it. It is a quite cold and rugged region, often referred to as \"Jötunheim of Vanaheim\". To its east, a great mountain range rises, from which a river, the Tanais, flows through some of the settlements of Svíthjod.

The forest where Vilh lived with his partner, Freyja, before she had to depart for Asgard as part of the peace treaty among the gods, is called Álfheimr. The trees in the forest act as Vilh's eyes, allowing him to see and feel everything that happens in his surroundings. It is in this forest where Vilh first meets Sveinn.

Great heather crossed by the Rhin river within the region of Enea. It is remembered as the site of the battle between Fafnir, transformed into a dragon, and his step-nephew, Sigurd, over the gold that the Andvari's Ring invoked to King Hreidmar. This ring was given to the king in compensation for the loss of his son, Óter, at the hands of Loki, and it brought immense wealth that fueled in Fafnir an unusual envy and greed, leading him to kill his own father. This greed stemmed from the curse placed by Andvari on his own ring after Loki stole it from him. Such greed would later consume Regin and his son, resulting in Sigurd killing his own father. Ultimately, the treasure did not end up in anyone's hands but sank to the bottom of the Rhin river, thus beginning the legend of the Rhin Gold.

The Groove of Fetters is a solitary, empty place where wildlife barely exists. It is crossed by the rivers Albis and Viadus. No one dares to enter due to well-known legends that claim public sacrifices took place there in a distant past. Legends go so far as to state that anyone who enters will never leave unless they are chained, and if they fall, they will not dare to get up and will crawl to their destination. Otherwise, the dark nature of the forest will punish their audacity.

The village never recovered from this devastation; no one wanted to repopulate the area or rebuild the ruins. Now, nature has reclaimed the remains of what was once alive.

A large rock stands out, offering a vantage point from which the entire region can be seen. On the day of Ragnarök, Heimdall will ascend this rock to blow his horn, announcing the greatest of battles.

The Mímir's Well is located on the edge of Jötunheim, and besides being the home of the mysterious Mímir, it is the place from where the utmost wisdom springs forth. Odin went to this well and sacrificed his eye so that Mímir would allow him to drink from it, and so it happened. Later on, Mímir would be killed by the Vanir, and his head sent to Odin, who, through magic, kept it speaking and advising him on what transpired around him.

The kingdom of Utgard is the most significant place in the world of Jötunheim, where the largest economy thrives. Surrounded by icy peaks and tall mountains, the Jötuns themselves decided to build a colossal and sturdy wall, making it one of the most fortified realms in the Nine Worlds. It is located in a somewhat decentralized position on the map of Jötunheim and is ruled by King Jötun Skrýmir.

The region of Gastropnir encompasses the entire west of Jötunheim, containing places such as the Iving River, Mount Lyfjaberg, or the Járnvid Forest.

Thrymheim

The kingdom of Thrymheim was another of the most important realms in the world of Jötunheim, and the home of King Thjazi. His daughter, Skadi, lived there with her husband and brother Njörd before they obtained, through the peace treaty between the Vanir and the Æsir, the palace of Nóatún in Asgard. Njörd preferred this palace, while Skadi wished to return to Thrymheim once they separated. After their separation, he went to his palace in Asgard, and she continued to live in Thrymheim.

Glæsisvellir is an enormous plain located in Jötunheim. Its vastness is immense, and its conditions are extreme, being the coldest place in the entire world. Therefore, there is only one village that has managed to settle and live there, the village of Odinsaker.

Odinsaker

Odinsaker is the sole village in the region of Glæsisvellir, and therefore, the entire territory of the region is often associated with the village, although this is not entirely true. The village has a sturdy wall but lacks excessive defenses. There is a myth about this village that whoever arrives in Odinsaker emerges rejuvenated and healthy. It was in this village that Gudmund was born, father of Höfund and king of the land, who eventually died in an internal battle of the village alongside his brothers Hothbrod and Starkad, at the hands of the giant Helgi's sword.

The Iving river is located directly opposite the connection portal between Jötunheim and Asgard. It is not very wide but is a strong-flowing river, widely known across all worlds for its curious location and the fact that, no matter how much it freezes, it never completely freezes over.

The Víd river is located right in front of the dwelling of the jötun Geirrod and his daughter Gjalp. It is one of the eleven rivers of Élivágar.

Lyfjaberg

Lyfjaberg

The Lyfjaberg mountain is located north of the city of Gastropnir, and its caves serve as home to many giants. The giantess Menglöd was imprisoned here by the giant Fjölsvinn. This mountain is the main setting of a series of poems that recount the story of Svipdag and the assistance of his deceased mother, Gróa, an expert sorceress, who tries to aid him in a task imposed by his stepmother. Svipdag arrives at Lyfjaberg mountain, where a castle sits atop it, and encounters the giant Fjölsvinn. The conclusion of these poems tells how Svipdag discovers that Menglöd is imprisoned in the castle and he rescues her.

The dwelling of the jötunn Suttung and his children Baugi and Gunnlod is located in two mountains that belong to him, forming a curious shape as if a giant axe had split them in half. Somewhere within these mountains, Suttung hides the mead of poetry, which Odin desires greatly.

The Járnvid Forest is located in the southwest of Jötunheim. It is a secluded forest inhabited by female jotuns and wolves, which eventually interbred, giving birth to offspring who were half wolf and half jotun. It was here that the half-jotun, half-wolf Angrboda was born, with whom the jotun Loki fathered three children: Fenrir, Jörmungandr, and Hel. In this forest, Fenrir grew up and had his two children, Sköll and Hati, with the she-wolf Hródvit. Sköll and Hati are known as the pursuers and executioners in Ragnarök, chasing and eventually catching Sól and Máni, the gods of the Sun and Moon, respectively.

Ókólnir is a region in Muspelheim with enormous rivers of lava and mountains where homes are settled in caves. It is notable for a brewery named after the village itself, run by a humble and old giant named Brimir. This brewery is rumored to have the best beer in all of Yggdrasil, granting great powers to anyone who drinks it.

The spring of Hvergelmir is an icy source in the world of Niflheim from which the eleven Élivágar rivers originate. No water flows through these rivers, as the spring of Hvergelmir is, in fact, a well that condenses the very Whispers of the Ginnungagap on its way to the surface, forming a kind of Whisper ether or Whisper water, which is what truly flows through the Élivágar rivers. This was not something premeditated by the triad of gods when forming Yggdrasil, but it was accidentally created in Niflheim, almost as if Yggdrasil itself had willed it.

Helvegen is the only passage through Niflheim that leads to the world of Helheim. It is such an extensive and challenging cave that it takes nine days and nine nights to traverse, while some of Hela's subjects torture the dead along the way.

El palacio de Éljúdnir is the palace of the goddess Hela. It is entirely composed of shadows. Within it, Hela resides with all her subjects, and it has a peculiar layout. At the entrance, two giants are observed with chains around their necks suspected to have been forged by Sindri. As one advances, the path splits into two, with a void in between two long staircases, allowing to see the river Gjöll directly. Climbing the stairs leads to the dwellings of each of the subjects, just behind an imposing statue of Hela. A central staircase ascends to the goddess's chamber. In this room is the Kör, which is her bed, and her curtains named Blikjandaböl (Gleaming Disaster).
