Gilling

Description

A somewhat deluded jötun, a fact that would cost him the death of himself and his unknown wife at the hands of Fjalar and Galar. The dwarves tricked him into venturing into one of Jötunheim's deepest lakes, sinking the boat and drowning him on the spot. On returning home, they loudly announced Gilling's death, to which his wife left the house in alarm, a millstone falling on her head, prepared by the brothers, and killing her. Suttung, son of the couple, swore revenge on the two brothers.
