Gunnar

Description

Son of Sigmund and heir to the throne of Karlaug. He is half-brother of the legendary warrior Sigurd, as they share father but no mother. He is known as a narcissistic king. He had some contact with the Æsir thanks to his wide devotion and offerings, which made Odin order Brynhild to favor him during his war against Solor. The fact that Brynhild disobeyed Odin and killed Gunnar led to speculation that Gunnar may have had something to do with Brynhild's death while she was still human, and that is why she held such a grudge against him.
