Litr

Description

Almost everything about Litr is unknown. His only attestation was by the Æsir, who remembered how, during Balder's funeral pyre, Thor kicked a dwarf who came running in front of him, and that dwarf's name was Litr. What that dwarf was doing in Asgard, other than at Balder's funeral and with so little regard for the seriousness of the moment is the great mystery surrounding this dwarf. In addition to these gaps, no one in Svartalfheim ever met any Litr.
