Thjalfi
Servant of Thor
Description
Servant of Thor and brother of Röskva. As a young boy, his family was going through a season of very bad harvest, barely able to eat. Luckily, Thor and Loki were passing by on one of their many adventures and journeys together, and decided to stay at their home to eat and provide them with a decent dinner. Thor offered the family to eat his two goats, Tanngjnóstr and Tanngrisnir, two magical goats that regenerated all their flesh after being eaten based on the bone structure, therefore, if a bone broke, that area would regenerate erratically, not to say that the bone itself would not regenerate either. Thor made sure this was made clear before dinner. After finishing, one of the goats regenerates, but shows a limp when walking. Thjalfi confesses that he broke one of its bones unintentionally. Thor, enraged, ends up agreeing to Loki's idea that, as payment, the young would be his servants. Behind Loki's idea was the reality: that family was not going to live much longer with so little food, and he thought that the future of the youngsters was paramount.
