Source Hvergelmir

Description

The source of Hvergelmir is an icy spring in the world of Niflheim from which the eleven Élivágar rivers originate. No water flows through these rivers, for the source of Hvergelmir is, in reality, a well that condenses on its way to the surface the Whispers of the Ginnungagap itself, forming a kind of ether of Whispers or water of Whispers, which is what truly flows through the Élivágar rivers. This was not something premeditated by the triad of gods when forming the Yggdrasil, but it was formed in Niflheim thanks to it accidentally, almost as if the Yggdrasil itself had had the will to do so.
