Mímir Well

Description

The Well of Mímir is located on the edge of Jötunheim, and besides being the home of the mysterious Mímir, it is the place from which the ultimate wisdom flows. Odin went to this well and sacrificed his eye so that Mímir would allow him to drink from it, and so it came to pass. Later, Mímir would be killed by the Vanir, and his head sent to Odin, who, by magic, kept it talking and advising him about what was happening around him.
