Thrymheim

Description

The kingdom of Thrymheim was another of the most important kingdoms in the world of Jötunheim, and the home of King Thjazi. His daughter, Skadi, lived there with her husband and brother Njörd before they obtained, through the peace treaty between the Vanir and the Æsir, the palace of Nóatún in Asgard. Njörd preferred this palace, while Skadi wished to return to Thrymheim once they parted. After their separation, he went to his palace in Asgard, and she continued to live in Thrymheim.
