Valhalla Palace

Description

The palace of Valhalla is Odin's palace and the resting place of the other half of the fallen warriors in Midgard who do not go to Folkvangr. These warriors rest and train eternally in a kind of paradise, without the possibility of leaving. It is used by the Æsir as a training ground for future wars, such as the one that will occur during Ragnarök. The palace has a long entrance called Valgrind. At the top of Valhalla is a garden with a tree in the center, called Lærad. The leaves of this tree serve as food for the deer Eikthyrnir and the goat Heidrún, who live in the garden. This tree produces apples that are harvested by the goddess Idunn, known as Idunn's Apples.
